• Our Goal: To find as many people as possible (or church groups, ie adult class, Bible Study group, etc.) that will sponsor a needy child in Peru so that he/she can attend school for 1 year!
• 2009 School Year: (Flow Chart for Funding)
  • The schools in Peru go from March to December of each year. So It is time for us to begin finding sponsors for the 2009 school year.
• Cost of Support: ~$500 but, give what you can.
• How to Support:
  • Send your check to your church office and mark it for Future Seekers and the Peru Church name.
  • If you do not have a local church here in the Houston area and would like to assist the children, send your check to:

  • All monies should be sent to ILEP (Lutheran Synod) office by middle of Feb 2009.

• History: In the 2006 school year, this program initially began. We were overwhelmed at the great response and therefore decided to continue it each year. Below are the results for each of the first three years:
  • 2009 --184 children have been sponsored -- as of 26 Jan 09
  • 2008 -- 224 children were sponsored
  • 2007 -- 159 children were sponsored
  • 2006 -- 62 children were sponsored (Living Word in Katy, Tx. only church participating & initial program start)
