Project 2 - Vacation Bible School (VBS):
Thanks to the fantastic leadership of Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in The Woodlands, Tx., we have been holding a 1 day VBS in Lima, Peru for the last 4 years. Each year about 20 to 26 members from churches in the Houston, Conroe and La Grange area have taught this one day event. Each year it has grown. It June 2006, over 450 children came in many from many parts of Peru. In June of 2007, over 500 children attended. This opportunity to spread God's love is just BEYOND description. A trip is planned for August 2008. Are you coming? We hope so! Contact Jim Young if you have an interest.
